Anand Sheoratan

Anand graduated from the University of Amsterdam as a business economist specialized in financial reporting and auditing. He also graduated as a certified accountant registered in the Koninklijke Nederlandse Beroepsorganisatie van Accountants (NBA).

He started his career in 1994 in Netherland in several companies. In the period 1997-2005 Anand joined KPMG and Ernst & Young to assist in developing the audit practices in Suriname, South-America.

He audited several multinational clients and big local clients in Suriname in several areas such as but not limited to mining, construction, food, lottery, banking and assurance.

In 2005 Anand started his own audit practice in Suriname named Sheoratan Registeraccountants N.V. Anand and Fariq worked together at KPMG Suriname on mutual clients and are close friends since then. As per January 2018 Anand and Fariq decided to closely work together and perform accounting services for clients located in the Netherlands.
